Chief Finance Administrator

This is a full time, unclassified, professional position that works directly with the Commission. 
At a grade 13, starting wage $29.67

Applications may be filled out at the Human Resource Office located at: 6751 Hwy 78, Mountain center Heflin, Alabama, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until May 25, 2018.  A resume should be submitted in addition to the application.

Job Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Accounting or Finance; and a minimum of five years’ experience in accounting, purchasing, or personnel in city, state, or county government; or any combination of education and experience which provides the necessary qualifications listed above will be considered. Skilled in the preparation of county GASB financials. Knowledge of the budgetary process. Ability to be bonded. Ability to obtain a county credit card. Must complete the requirements for a Certified County Administrator within 36 months of employment. Ability to travel to attend conferences, workshops, or seminars.
Possession of a current valid Alabama driver’s license.
